Osmocote is a plant food and Osmocote PotShots are plant food nuggets that deliver a pre-measured blend of essential nutrients especially formulated for container grown plants and houseplants. Osmocote consists of homogenous granules covered with a slow-release coating. This coating ensures that the plant’s food is carefully released. The number of PotShots used depends on the container size. For each PotShot, position the nugget half-way between the container’s edge and the plant’s stem. Then push about 1 to 3 inches deep into the soil. Water as usual. The nutrients are released for about 6 months after application.
